There will be a variety of businesses in attendance to discuss if they have everything they need to handle a workplace violence incident. Matz said there are multiple forms of this such as employee on employee, an outside force coming in like somebody upset with the company or even an angry spouse or significant other.
“The easiest sign would be aggressive behavior,” Matz said. “They could be with the social media, it could be comments that are being made, it can be all of a sudden changes in work habits, so somebody that was always prompt is now coming in late, their disturbed.”
Metz said there are numerous situations in Ohio like this that have happened so this seminar is help business operations become as smooth as possible.
