Y-Bridge Arts Festival features art and music

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Y-Bridge Arts Festival had its second and final day at Zane’s Landing Park.
There was plenty of art to see at the Y Bridge Art Festival with over 70 vendors at the art show. There were artists and art dealers from other parts of Ohio as well as Zanesville.
“We have all these artists who have come to Zanesville as well as all the artist we already have,” said Member of the Y-City Barber Shop Chorus Jim McLaughlin. “We are developing an artist colony here.”
There was also music going on throughout the day. McLaughlin said art comes in all forms and the art of music stands out to him.
“Music is the first thing that attracts my ear,” said McLaughlin. ‘The band from John Glenn. We had someone playing guitar earlier and then we’re going to be on with the barber shop chorus in a few moments.”
McLaughlin said even though the Arts Festival is now over, it’s something that you should mark in your calendar for next year.
