Y-Bridge Arts Festival is in search of artists

ZANESVILLE,Ohio- A highly anticipated art showcase is in search of local artist for their annual festival.

The tenth annual Y-Bridge Arts Festival will kick off this August. Festival director, Bob Grayson said they are now recruiting artist for the 2018 event. Artists of all mediums are welcome to participate.

“We’re celebrating the tenth 10th annual Y-bridge Arts Festival and it’s August third and fourth at The Landing here in town. But we’re recruiting artist for the event and I realize it’s four months away, but we want to make sure we get the best of the best artist now before they make plans for things later,” said Grayson.

Grayson said this is a family friendly event with activities for all ages to enjoy.

“They’ll see over a hundred and fifty artists work on display. They will enjoy numerous bands, live music and they will also have a children’s area where we celebrate the education and history of the area. Plus The Zanesville Museum of Art will host the children’s area. They will also get good food vendors. If you’re a local artist and haven’t gotten your paperwork in, please do it right away,” said Grayson.
