ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Young Insurance on Linden Avenue may not be that young as they celebrated 100 years in business on Thursday.

Young Insurance was joined by the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce, Zanesville Mayor Don Mason, and the Muskingum County Commissioners for a ribbon cutting ceremony.  Lynnell Hankinson is the vice president and third generation of the family that owns and runs the business. She got her start with the business in 1992.

“Actually, I worked with my grandfather and then my dad. So, I got to spend some additional time with grandfather that some people don’t have the opportunity to do,” Hankinson said.

Young Insurance’s office is located at 1239 Linden Avenue in Zanesville. They offer auto, home, Business, and life Insurance. According to office manager, treasurer, and secretary, Pam Ufholz, the secret to 100 years in business is a loyal customer base.

“We’ve got to this point because of our loyal customers and we want to continue that. We’ve reached milestones with out customers. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve rejoiced in their different moments in their life,” Ufholz said.

You can visit their website or follow them on Facebook to learn more. Their office hours are weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
