Z-ville Mail Carrier Suspended

A Zanesville mail carrier has been suspended by the United State Postal Service. Special Agency Scott Balfour says his office and the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office are looking into the issue that involves missing mail. Balfour say the mail carrier has been put in an off-duty status pending the outcome of the investigation. Once that occurs it will be presented to the U.S. Attorney’s Office and Postal Service management to determine what further action is appropriate. The name of the mail carrier won’t be released until formal charges are filed.
