Z-ville Man Gets 25 Years For Sex Charges

 The Zanesville man facing 46 sex charges including human trafficking was sentenced Wednesday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.  The Prosecutor’s Office says 32-year-old Derek "Bo" Jamison who earlier pleaded guilty to 40 of the charges in a plea deal was sentenced by Judge Mark Fleegle to 25 years in prison and classfied as a Tier II sex offender. Three counts of human trafficking and three other charges were dropped at sentencing.  Among the charges against Jamison were compelling prostitution, illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. His sentence will run concurrant with a jail sentence he recieved this week in a separate drug case.  Once Jamison is released from prison he will have to register with authorities every 180 days for 25 years.
