Z-ville Man Pleads Not Guilty In Armed Robbery

A Zanesville man was arraigned today in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court in connection with the armed robbery of an area gas station. Prosecutor’s say that 23-year-old Landrius Krouskouph entered a not guilty plea to multiple charges including aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, kidnapping and theft. Police say earlier this month a customer walking out of the convenience store at Maple and Forest Avenues was bumped by a man entering the store. Investigators say when the customer looked back he saw the suspect jumping over the counter with a knife and demanding money from the clerk. Moments later police were on the scene and made an arrest. Common Pleas Judge Mark Fleegle continued Krouskouph’s bond at 250-thousand dollars. He remains in custody.
