Z-ville Man Pleads Not Guilty In Police Chase
A Zanesville man who police say led them on a high speed chase this month appeared in court Wednesday.
38-year-old Keith Stevens went before Judge Mark Fleegle and pled not guilty to six charges including two counts of theft, two counts of failure to comply, vandalism and resisting arrest.
Zanesville Police says Stevens stole a van on September 13th, smashed through a fence at AK Steel, sped down Van Horn Avenue and then crashed into a pole near the Dollar Saver.
Police say Stevens then tried to flee on foot and had to be tased.
Judge Fleegle continued Stevens’ bond at $50,000.
