Z-ville Man Sentenced In Fatal Accident
A Zanesville man is sentenced in connection with a fatal motorcycle accident. South Zanesville Police say 72-year-old John Craven was driving a J-R Electric truck when he collided with a motorcycle that was taking part in a funeral procession on the Maysville Pike in June. The cyclist was 48-year-old Dwight Reynolds, who later died of his injuries. Muskingum County Judge Jay Vinsel last week sentenced Craven to 90 days in jail, which was suspended, a 900 dollar fine which was donated to the Rushing Wind Biker Church and a two year driver’s license suspension. The Judge also ordered Craven to not have any criminal convictions or misdemeanor traffic offenses for the next five years.
