Z-ville Man Sentenced On Pandering Obscenity

A Zanesville man is sentenced to prison on pandering obscenity charges involving a minor. 41-year-old Jeffrey Lee Doty was sentenced by Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Mark Fleegle to 16 years in prison. The Judge also classified Doty as a Tier 2 sex offender which means he must register ever 180 days for 25 years after he is released from prison. Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says pornographic material was found in Doty’s home at 2120 South River Road in November. The Sheriff says the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force took part in the investigation of Doty.
