ZAAP Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Foot by Foot Fundraiser
ZANESVILLE, OH – The Zanesville Appalachian Arts Project is celebrating a significant milestone – it’s 30th anniversary.
In honor of this achievement, ZAAP is hosting its annual Foot by Foot fundraiser this Saturday, June 22nd, from 5 to 8 PM. This event aims to raise funds to support the gallery’s mission of providing local artists with the space and opportunity to showcase their artwork.
“ZAAP is a phenomenal gallery. ZAAP offers the gallery for people who don’t necessarily have their own gallery. They can come here and for a minimum amount of membership fees, they can show two pieces every month,” ZAAP Board Member/Artist Frank Fazakas said.
Attendees will have the chance to view and bid on a diverse array of 12 by 12 artworks created by talented ZAAP members. Each piece reflects the unique styles and perspectives of local artists, offering bidders a chance to own a one-of-a-kind work of art while supporting the local arts community.
“There’s going to be a few prizes given. We have a lot of door prizes. We are going to do something completely different this year, we’re going to run a 50/50 and we have door prizes. As people come in, they’ll be given a number, a ticket, and they’ll be able to be in the drawing for door prizes. We have some really nice prizes from local businesses,” Fazakas said.
The event will take place at the ZAAP Gallery, located at 625 Main Street in Downtown Zanesville.
