ZAAP Features Brandon Scott’s Stunning Nature Photography

ZANESVILLE, OH – His lens has seen mountaintops, misty forests, and golden skies, and now, his work is being celebrated as this month’s featured exhibit at ZAAP.

Brandon Scott is July’s Artist of the Month at the Zanesville Appalachian Arts Project. He’s a photographer, traveler, and nature enthusiast who’s already explored more than most dream of, all by age 20.

“Brandon likes to focus on his travels. He started out actually with a travel blog to share photos and stories about the places he’s been. Now, he’s focusing on nature photography. He likes to spend a lot of time with wildlife, so that’s his main focus right now but it changes throughout his career,” ZAAP Director, Shelby Spilker said.

Brandon’s art focuses on the beauty and emotion of the natural world. When he’s not behind the camera, he also teaches about herbalism and wellness, and helps others connect with nature through both photography and plant-based living.

“Brandon does an amazing job. I really appreciate his mission which is so focused on conservation and bringing nature to people and helping them understand why it’s important to take care of our planet and the animals in it,” Spilker said.

Brandon’s work will be on display and for sale at the ZAAP Gallery during the Friday Art Walk on Friday, July 11th.
