ZAAP Gallery to Display Diverse Artwork from 25 New Members

ZANESVILLE, OH – It will be a busy night this Friday at one local gallery.

The ZAAP Gallery will have artwork on display from 25 of their newest members. Irene Baron, an Artist at the ZAAP Gallery, says that the walls at the gallery will be filled with different works.

“Every single artist will be highlighted and everyone has their own place on our walls,” Baron said. “As you stop at each one they’re different. You might think there would be some similarities but there are not.”

Baron said all of the artists vary in their works in the materials they use to their concepts of creating the piece.

“I hope they get to enjoy art,” Baron said. “Many of them didn’t realize they could exhibit their work here in Zanesville. When I tell people who are budding artists or have been artists that they can display it here they ask, ‘I can really show my work off here?’ and I say yes of course! Then they get so excited.”

The ZAAP Gallery will be open from 5 to 8 PM Friday night and are located at 625 Main Street.
