ZAAP’s Featured Artist of the Month

 Downtown Zanesville is preparing for the First Friday Artwalk.

Hundreds of local artists will showcase their artwork for community members as they walk from gallery to gallery to view the art displays. This month Gary Graham was chosen as ZAAP’s featured artist of the month.

"I’ve done this probably for 12 years now, it’s something that I’ve always enjoyed doing. Artwork was something i’ve done my entire life. I’ve also graduated from an art college in Columbus and produced a lot of work. As you can see I have a large wall full," said Graham.

Graham said that he gets a lot of inspiration for his paintings from different nature scenes from when he’s traveled around the country. Graham tells us as soon as people come in and see his paintings they know it’s his from the design he has perfected.

"When you see the work I have here immediately each piece tells you I did it. My style is not anymore unique then anyone else’s but, each person has their own style and people recognize that," said Graham.
