Zanesville Artist Launches First Karvar Kon

NEWARK, OH – This weekend, creativity takes center stage as a Zanesville artist launches a convention celebrating custom creations and the community behind them.

Action figures, custom builds, detailed dioramas and artwork will all be under one roof this Saturday as Karvar Kon makes its debut at the Cherry Valley Hotel in Newark. Hosted by Zanesville artist Bryan Lynn, who is the creator behind Karvar Kustoms, the event will bring together more than 50 artists and creators from across the country to showcase their work.

“It’s a con that’s really focused on Four Horsemen Action Figures and the toy line that they make. For those who don’t know, Four Horsemen is a toy studio that’s been around for [many] years. If you’re a kid of the 90’s, you’ve more than likely had something that they have made. Whether you’re a fan of He-Man or Spawn or something like that. This is a con that’s totally focused on their Legion’s Line.” Bryan Lynn, the owner of Karvar Kustoms/Creator of Karvar Kon, said.

Beyond the displays, Bryan Lynn says Karvar Kon is about creating a place where people with a shared passion can come together and connect with fellow collectors and fans.

“The main goal is to bring all of these people together and give them another time of the year to come together. It’s like a big family.” Lynn said.

Karvar Kon is happening on Saturday, July 11th at the Cherry Valley Hotel in Newark. Doors open just after 9 a.m. Tickets are $15 and children 12 and under get in free.
