Zanesville boys soccer earns late season win at West M

ZANESVILLE, Ohio — Kesten Taylor netted a first half goal as the Zanesville Blue Devils boys soccer team scored a 1-0 victory over the Tornadoes of West Muskingum on Saturday night.

Zanesville thought they had a lead several minutes earlier when Jack Thorne picked out his man inside the box after a short corner kick, but the goal was disallowed for an offside call.

West Muskingum struggled to create chances and string together consistent possession throughout much of the match.

Zanesville moves to 6-3-5 on the season with the victory, while West M falls to 1-10-3.
