Zanesville Businessman Dies

A well-known Zanesville businessman has died. Robert Beitzel passed away this morning. He was the founder and owner of Ace Truck Equipment of Zanesville and two other trucking companies. Beitzel was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Elks, the Zanesville Country Club, Sertoma and the Muskingum Valley Old-Times Association to name a few. Calling hours are 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Saturday at Central Trinity United Methodist Church at 1 p.m. Beitzel will be laid to rest with full military honors at Zanesville Memorial Park.
