Local Church Serving Up Thanksgiving Feast

Zanesville Church Of The First Nazarene

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Zanesville Church of the First Nazarene will host a free Thanksgiving Dinner next week.

Rashaun Merriman, the event Event Organizer, said they’re hosting this dinner to help bring the community together.

“We saw the need in our community,” Merriman explained. “This dinner will give the homeless, shut ins, the sick, the chance to come together for great food and fellowship.”

This is the first year they are hosting the event and all of the Thanksgiving classics will be at the dinner.

Merriman says he hopes this event makes all who come feel like a part of the family.

“We want everyone to come together for good fellowship and food,” Merriman said. “We are all God’s family, so hopefully people leave feeling like that.”

The dinner will be at the Zanesville Civic League Community Center located at 928 Jackson St. on November 20 starting at 6:30 PM.

The dinner is free and open to the public.
