Zanesville City Jail Administrator Dies

Zanesville Police Chief Tony Coury says his office has lost one of their own. Coury said that it’s with great sadness that he announces the death of City Jail Administrator Michele Duke. She started her career with the jail on November 29, 1993 as a corrections officer and served until taking the job of Jail Administrator on July 11, 2014. Coury says Duke died of natural causes at her home Monday morning.  He says it  is a huge loss for the city and the department.  The Thorn-Black Funeral Home in Cambridge is handling funeral arrangements.
