Zanesville Community Theatre Presents Final Showing of ‘It’s a Bad Year for Tomatoes’
‘It’s a Bad Year for Tomatoes’ performed under the lights for the last time at the Zanesville Community Theatre June 21.
The play followed Hollywood actress ‘Myra Marlowe’ through her attempts to write her autobiography. Lead Actress Michelle Robinson says this play delivers laughs and a character she never gets tired of playing.
“Today being the final day, it’s kind of exciting because we’re building momentum as far as how many people have been seeing it,” said Robinson. “We’ve got a lot of great reaction and I really love playing the ‘Sis Sadie’ character because she’s a little off kilter.”
‘Into the Woods’ is on deck. The popular production is set to premiere July 17 through July 26.
“Call early for reservations because there’s already a lot of buzz,” said Robinson. “People are familiar with it because Disney had done it previously. A lot of great talent is in there. It is a musical and it’s great for everybody. ”
