Zanesville Community Theatre to Show “Three Tall Women”

ZANESVILLE, Ohio — Tech rehearsals took place today at the Zanesville Community Theatre for “Three Tall Women.”
A small cast of just four gathered with the production staff this afternoon to begin preparing for their performance less than a week away.
Today is tech rehearsal for ‘Three Tall Women.’ And today is the first day that we actually put lights, sounds, costume, makeup, hair– everything– together to hopefully get a view of the finished product,” said Director Eric Blake.
Blake also gave those that may not be familiar with this particular play, a look into what they should expect to see when his show hit’s the stage.
“This Edward Albee is a modern-American playwright. He just passed away a few years ago, and this show won the 1994 Pulitzer Prize. And it is a very dark, poignant look at aging. It’s beautiful and it’s ugly at the same time,” added Blake.
Show times are Friday, March 31st and Saturday, April 1st at 8PM, and Sunday April 2nd at 2:30PM at the Zanesville Community Theatre. Tickets can be purchased online at www.zct.org.
