Zanesville Drops Second Straight
H.S. Boys Basketball:
Wheeling Park 58 Zanesville 41
The rough weekend continues for the Devils after a 17 point loss to the Patriots. Coach Scott Aronhalt felt his team came out flat, something that he knew his teamc ouldn’t do against a very talented Wheeling Park team. Michael jebbia played ten kids, and only one failed to score. They outrebounded the Blue Devils 39-18, and actually pulled down six offensive rebounds on a single posession early in the fourth quarter.
Kade Haddox was the leading scorer for the Blue Devils with 10 points. Zanesville is back in ECOL play Tuesday night, when they go on the road against New Philadelphia.
