Zanesville Eagles Fly High with a Donation to the Kiwanis Club

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Zanesville Fraternal Order of Eagles brought the spirit of the holiday to life as they presented a generous check to the Kiwanis Club of Zanesville.
The Eagles presented a check of $5,000 to the Kiwanis, which will fund two heartwarming initiatives: building wheelchair ramps for those in financial need and hosting a Christmas party for local children who could use some extra joy this holiday season.
“$2,500 will go toward our children’s Christmas party coming up on December 6th. That’ll buy gifts, clothing, and provide them a nice lunch. Then we do wheelchair ramps for folks who can’t afford to install their own. We provide the labor and the supplies,” Kiwanis Club of Zanesville Secretary, Kevin Pinson said.
The Eagles raise charity funds through various community events and activities with the aim of assisting local organizations like Kiwanis, and to make a positive impact on the community.
“Our motto is “People helping people” and if we can help other organizations meet their goals, then we’re helping everybody in this community. It makes us really happy to be able to help,” The Zanesville Fraternal Order of Eagles Financial Secretary, Doug Geyer said.
