Zanesville Knocked Out of Ohio Valley Regional

The Zanesville Americans lost three games in the Ohio Valley Regional Tournament and all of them were by one run. Today’s one-run loss though eliminated them from the 15 year old tournament at Zanesville High School.

The hosts were knocked out by New Castle Indiana, who plated four runs in the first two innings to hang on and beat the Americans 4-3. Zanesville came back to defeat New Castle in Thursday’s pool play game, which ended up being their only win of the tournament.
