Zanesville Man Arrested for Pandering Sexually Oriented Material Involving a Minor

ZANESVILLE, OH – A Zanesville man has been arrested following an investigation by the Zanesville Police Department.

According to ZPD, on December 4th around 3PM, they received a call in regards to an adult man walking to a fast food restaurant to meet with a juvenile.

They say when they confronted 59-year-old Joseph Wayne Tice, he had admitted that he was communicating with the juvenile in a sexual manner and that he did have child pornography on his electronic devices.

After Tice was taken into custody a search warrant was issued for his apartment and Officials seized numerous storage and electronic devices to be analyzed for illicit materials.

Tice has been charged with One Count of Pandering Sexually Oriented Material Involving a Minor, a felony of the second degree.

Further charges are expected when the case is presented to the Muskingum County Grand Jury.

Tice is being held in the Zanesville City Jail on a $500,000 bond.
