Two Men Charged with OVI

A Zanesville man is facing his seventh charge for Operating a Vehicle while impaired.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said 55-year-old Larry L. Hostetler was arrested after he was stopped for a traffic violation on Saturday, April 21 around 2:30am in the City of Zanesville.

He’s scheduled to appear in Zanesville Municipal Court Friday morning.

The Patrol also said 41-year-old James E. Fraunfelter III of Somerset has been charged with his sixth offense for Operating a Vehicle while impaired.

The patrol said Fraunfelter III was involved in a one vehicle crash on State Route 345 at US 22 in Newton Township on Tuesday, April 24 just before 11pm. Troopers said during the investigation they determined he was impaired.

The Patrol said the case is being forwarded to the Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office for charges, which include felony OVI.
