Zanesville Man Charged in This Weeks’s Drug Raid

The Zanesville Police Department says charges have been filed against an area man in connection to a drug raid this week at 2202 Norwood Boulevard. Zanesville Police say 33-year-old David Lee Doyle of Zanesville has been charged with two counts of trafficking in drugs, three counts of possession of drugs, permitting drug abuse and having a weapon under disability. They say if convicted of all the charges Doyle faces a maximum of 32 years in prison. The suspect is currently being held in the Zanesville City Jail on a $500,000 bond. More arrests are expected as a result of this investigation where members of the Zanesville/Muskingum County Joint Drug Task Force recovered 100 grams of meth, 20 grams of cocaine, pills, marijuana, 2 handguns, three vehicles and 30 thousand dollars in cash.
