Zanesville Man Indicted In Drive-By Shooting

The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office says a Zanesville man has been indicted in connection with a drive-by shooting.

Prosecutor Mike Haddox says 24-year-old Christopher Smith of Larzelere Avenue was indicted on one count of discharging a firearm at or into a habitation and one count of tampering with evidence.

Haddox says Smith used an assault rifle to fire shots into the home of Felippa Holbert at 2012 Ridge Avenue. No one in the home was injured. If convicted Smith could face 16 years in prison.
