Zanesville Man Sentenced In Shooting Death
A Zanesville man who pled guilty in the death of an area man learned his fate Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.
26-year-old Reese Bowers was sentenced on a voluntary manslaughter charge and a gun specification charge to 12 years in prison.
In September Bowers plead guilty in the death of Dajuan Mckenzie of Zanesville.
Police say Bowers shot Makenzie this past spring once in the upper body and once in the head at the intersection of Luck Avenue and Ohio Street in Zanesville.
