Zanesville Man Sentenced to 40 Years

ZANESVILLE, OH – A Zanesville man has been sentenced to a maximum of 44 years in prison for Pandering Sexually Oriented Material Involving a Minor.

As we reported last week,  59-year-old Joseph Tice was arrested on Dec. 4th while attempting to meet a 12-year-old juvenile at a fast food restaurant, where he admitted to police that he had child sexual abuse images on his electronic devices.

A search warrant was issued to search his apartment and seize Tice’s devices; he was charged with a second degree felony for Pandering Sexually Oriented Material Involving a Minor.

Tice appeared in court on Tuesday where he plead guilty to 5 counts of Pandering Sexually Oriented Material Involving a Minor or Impaired Person and was sentenced to a minimum of 40 years in prison. He must also register as a tier two sex offender for the next 25 years.
