Zanesville Murder Suspect Arrested
Zanesville Police say an arrest has been made in a homicide that happened on April 21st at the intersection of Luck Avenue and Ohio Street. Detective Sergeant Ric Roush says 26-year-old Reese Bowers of Zanesville, who was arrested Saturday by Whitehall Police, is charged with two counts of murder with a firearm specification, and one count each of voluntary manslaughter, having a weapon under disability and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle. Police accuse Bowers of shooting 27-year-old Dajuan McKenzie of Zanesville once in the upper body and once in the head on April 21st. Bowers is currently in the Franklin County Jail.
