Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce Gearing up for Festival of Trees Auction

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce is getting ready to host their annual Festival of Trees Auction.

Lydia Tom, the Membership Services Specialist with the Chamber, is inviting local businesses to break out their decorating skills for this local holiday tradition.

“We’re inviting local businesses to come together and decorate a tree, wreath, or a stocking with things that are tailored to your business as well as an incentive.” Tom said. “Then they can enter it into the auction to support the Chamber.”

Tom said the reason for hosting the auction has become a tradition they want to continue.

“The Chamber has been hosting this auction for over 31 years.” Tom said. “It’s a great way for the community and business community to come together to support local businesses and get into the holiday spirit.”

The deadline for businesses to enter the auction is November 17th. Auction items will need to be dropped off during the following week.

The Festival of Trees Auction will take place on December 1st from 9 to 6 PM. You can attend the auction in person or you can listen live on AM1240.
