Zanesville OSHP Traffic Report from St. Patrick’s Day Weekend

Zanesville, Ohio--The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol announced Monday that it investigated 10 traffic crashes in Muskingum County over the St. Patrick’s Day weekend.

Sgt. Jeff Jirles said 2 of those 10 crashes were injury accidents. The first crash occurred Friday evening on State Route 146 and the second crash a few hours later Friday night on State Route  345.

Sgt. Jirles said both of these injury crashes involved alcohol and/or drug impaired drivers.

As part of the Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving campaign over the St. Patrick’s Day weekend, the Zanesville Patrol Post arrested 5 motorists for OVI.
