Zanesville Woman Charged in Hit and Skip
A Zanesville woman is charged in connection with a hit and skip accident last week at the intersection of Pine Street and Prospect Avenue.
The Zanesville Police Department says 24-year-old Kristen Frank was driving north on Pine Street with her three kids, ages six, three, and two, when she struck an 11-year-old boy who was crossing the road on his bike.
Patrolman James Devoll says a tip led him to 236 Adams Street, where he found Frank. He says he inspected the car and found it has been spray-painted to hide damage from the accident.
Devoll says after talking to Frank, she admitted to fleeing the scene because she was driving without a license.
Frank was charged with hit and skip, driving while under suspension, and obstructing official business.
