Zanesville Woman Pleads Guilty to Drug Charge
A Zanesville woman charged in connection with the discovery of a rolling meth lab has pleaded guilty.
25-year-old Stephanie Campfield entered the plea Wednesday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court to a 3rd degree felony charge of illegal assembly of chemicals for manufacture of drugs.
Campfield was arrested last month after Zanesville Police pulled over a vehicle at the intersection of Linden Avenue and Lee Street for a traffic violation.
According to Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz , items used to produce meth were found inside the vehicle.
Also arrested and charged were 27-year-old John Campfield and 30-year-old Atassia Burkett.
Lutz says the Campfields two-year-old son was also inside the vehicle.
Stephanie Campfield is being held in the Zanesville City Jail on a $25,000 bond.
A pre-sentence investigation was ordered in the case.
