Zanesville Woman Sentenced In Shooting
A Zanesville woman who was originally charged with attempted murder is sentenced Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court on a lesser charge. 45-year-old Dyanne Stewart in May pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated assault and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle. Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says Stewart was arrested in January after shooting three times at a male. Common Pleas Judge Mark Fleegle sentenced Stewart to 12 months in prison on each charge to be served at the same time. The victim in the shooting incident was not injured.
