ZDGA Golf Show Preparations

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Zanesville District Golf Association is teeing up to hold their annual Z.D.G.A. Golf Show.
The show will be on February 4, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. in the big tent behind the Eagle Sticks club house. Zanesville Country Club’s Golf Professional, Mike Durant, said they’ve been planning this event for months and they’re expecting to have around 400 attendees.
“We invite major club manufacturers to come in. Titleist, Ping, Callaway, Mizuno, and Wilson Golfing will be here and also we invite all the area golf courses to come in and set up,” Durant said. “They offer packages, discounted merchandise for the people that come in.”
The attendees can go and get fitted for golfing equipment, participate in a silent auction, and door prizes.
“We contact the manufactures several months ago and get them to book this date and they all love to do it they’re very surprised that a community the size of Zanesville has a golf show that attracts four hundred people,” Durant said. “They love it, they get to share their newest and latest equipment and the specifics of it.”
The Z.D.G.A will also recognize the following local senior high school golf stars from the following Schools John Glenn High School, New Lexington High School, Maysville High School, Zanesville High School, Morgan High School, Philo High School.
Dylan Van Fossen, Lexi Bubenchik, Brayden Metzger, Tyler Brown, Caleb Barnett, Makyla Lewellen, Joslyn Goins, Coan Hopkins, Liam Blake, Logan Jarrett are the students being recognized.
