ZFD Searching River/Nothing Found

The Zanesville Fire Department searched the Muskingum River after a report Monday morning of a person in the water.  The department’s rescue boat was put into the River in an effort to verify the report.  Zanesville Police say they received a phone call reporting a person in the river trying to swim.  Crews searched for that person. ZFD says it is possible the person was swimming in the river. ZFD says the search area was from the Y-Bridge to Putnam.  At 9:35 a.m. rescue crews reported that they could not find anything and were pulling the boat out of the water.
