ZHS Open To Students
The anticipation is finally over.
Students met at the new Zanesville High School for orientation Thursday afternoon; everyone was excited to see the final result.
"This was a very big week, I know the construction workers were excited that we passed all of the safety tests, we know that the building is not all the way done, but we are able to occupy it, the construction workers will be with us for some time to come," said ZHS Principal Mark Ulbrich.
Ulbrich says that the school will just have to work along side construction workers while they finish up the last of their work.
"There’s certainly a lot of excitement with the newness of the building and I think the students and the community are really going to be excited about the features that we have in this building," he said.
Some of the new features include state of the art equipment for the classrooms and a cafeteria overlooking the football stadium. School will begin next Tuesday.
