ZMHA will have a new executive director in May

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Zanesville Metropolitan Housing Authority, or ZMHA, will have a new executive director on May 1.
Steven G. Randles has held the position for 16 years and has been part of the Zanesville Metropolitan Housing Authority for more than 20 years. The board of ZMHA has officially dedicated the boardroom in their headquarters to Randles for his years of service. As he prepares to retire, Randles reflects on the lessons learned in his career.
“I guess the biggest lessons learned would be to be patient with people and that is across the board as it relates to our residents, our staff, our board members, community members. Take a minute, take a beat, focus on not only what you need to say but what you need to hear,” Randles said.
Jerry Tiberio has been serving as the deputy director and special projects coordinator for the organization and is looking forward to continuing on the path Randles has set for the organization.
“I’m excited about the opportunity. I look forward to working for, working with our team here at ZMHA. We have a very solid team. Currently, we have 43 employees and I think we just have a strong team and thanks to Steve’s guidance and, you know, his leadership, we’re in a good position to move forward, you know, to handle the issues that come up going forward,” Tiberio said.
The ZMHA coordinates housing assistance for nearly 2,800 residents in Muskingum County. You can learn more about what they do by visiting their website.
