ZPD Investigate Attempted Abduction
The Zanesville Police Department is investigating another attempted abduction of a child.
Detective Sergeant Ric Roush says it happened Monday around 5:00 pm in the 300 block of Bailey Street off Ridge Avenue and involved a 14-year-old girl.
Detective Roush says the suspect is described as an older white male with long gray hair and a beard.
He was driving a purple mustang.
Roush says this attempted abduction is similar to another case that happened last month in Zanesville.
