ZPD Says 35-Year-Old Man Shot

The Zanesville Police Department is investigating an early Thursday morning shooting. Detective Sergeant Harry Taylor says it happened around 2:30 near the intersection of Pine Street and Indiana Street. Taylor says officers discovered that a 35-year-old man was shot at an apartment located at 768 Pine Street. The victim was taken to a Columbus hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Taylor says two gunman were involved in the shooting. They are described as white males in their 20’s. One suspect is 5’10†tall and the other is 5’7†tall. A motive for the shooting is unclear.
