Zpd Says 35 Year Old Man Shot

The Zanesville Police Department is investigating an early Thursday morning shooting. Detective Sergeant Harry Taylor says it happened around 2:30 near the intersection of Pine Street and Indiana Street. Taylor says officers discovered that a 35-year-old man was shot at an apartment located at 768 Pine Street. The victim was taken to a Columbus hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Taylor says two gunman were involved in the shooting. They are described as white males in their 20’s. One suspect is 5’10” tall and the other is 5’7” tall. A motive for the shooting is unclear.
