ZPD Searching For New Year’s Eve Gunman

Zanesville Police Tuesday said charges have been filed in a New Year’s Eve shooting incident, but the suspect remains at large. Chief Kenneth Miller says a warrant has been issued for Darrin Wade of 6305 Vroom Road in Nashport. He is charged with aggravated robbery and felonious assault, both with firearm specifications and having a weapon while under a disability. Police say on December 31st a man was shot at an apartment at 768 Pine Street. Police said at the time there were two gunmen involved.
