$100,000 Boost For Dresden Sr. Center

The Muskingum County Community Foundation announced that the Bonnie Longaberger Senior Center is getting a big financial gift. Rachael Longaberger Stukey of The Eights Keys Foundation of Columbus has given $100,000 to the Village of Dresden. It will be used to keep the Senior Center open. The gift will cover the monthly expenses at the Center for the next four years and provide monies for a couple of major capital improvement projects. The Village owns the building and pays monthly expenses. Foundation CEO Brian Wagner says “this is a great collaborative opportunity.” Dresden Mayor David Mathew says “the gift will allow the village to maintain the facility while alleviating some of the budget pressures. “
