11th Annual Keith Shrider Golf Tournament

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Community members were able to enjoy Saturday and golf all for a good cause.
The 11th annual Keith Shrider golf tournament took place Saturday afternoon at the Green Valley Golf Course. Participants could sign up with an entry fee, and were able to take part in the tournament where there is a hole in one contest and a cash prize.
“A hole in one tournament where as it’s pretty unique for the simple fact that almost every time you swing the golf club off the tee box, you could possibly win a ten thousand dollar hole in one prize,” said Owner of Keth Shrider Insurance Company, Keith Shrider.
The proceeds from the tournament go towards different organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, the animal shelter, and in honor of a loved one, the Special Olympics.
“It brings everybody together. Pretty much once you’ve signed up for this tournament, you’re locked in. Because people, they just love coming out. They love coming out and it’s a good way to raise money and give to the local charities,” said Shrider.
Keith Shrider also said that this year had a big turnout, and he was thankful for everyone who participated.
