15-year-old in Custody in Coshocton Co.

A 15-year-old is in custody in Coshocton County.

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said around 8 a.m. Thursday Coshocton City Schools received an extremely credible threat to the student body.

The school began safety protocols and multiple deputies were dispatched to the school to provide security until the threat could be located.

Just before 9 a.m. the 15-year-old was taken into custody at his him and the school was given the all clear.

The Sheriff’s Office said this is an on-going investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (740) 622-2411.
