Cambridge Holds off Zanesville in Legion Baseball

Cambridge, OH- Cambridge hosted Zanesville in American Legion action on Wednesday night.

Buckeye Trail’s Tyler Harrell looked good on the mound. After that the runs started to pour in for Cambridge. Keaton Kyser got the scoring started in the 2nd inning with a base hit. Later in the inning Buckeye Trail’s Braden Williams with great discipline at the plate and with the bases loaded a ran came in to score making it 3-0 after 2 innings.

Zanesville would fight back allowing Tri-Valley’s Drew Watton to come in and score. His teammate Kade Hindel added to the rally with an RBI single as part of a four-run inning.

Cambridge would come back in the fifth and win 7-4.
