Odor of Natural Gas in Zanesville

Muskingum County- The smell of natural gas is permeating throughout the city of Zanesville.

The Muskingum County EMA Director Jeff Jadwin said that Muskingum Iron and Metal received a shipment of old pipe that is soaked in the odor of natural gas.

The pipe is being processed and the smell should lift eventually.

Jadwin said there is no cause for concern for residents.
