The Roscoe Village Food Truck Festival Returns This Saturday
If you’re looking for a place with food vendors, food trucks, and live music for this weekend, Historic Roscoe Village has you covered.
This Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Roscoe Village will be filled with over 20 business from food trucks selling hot meals to food vendors selling jams and jellies. Featuring an open mic show followed by Randy Velez with Last Call wrapping up the musical performances.
“We wanted to do an event here in the village that maybe had a little bit more of a modern flair, kind of pull in a different audience than what we see with our apple butter stir-in and food trucks are just fun. So, we thought that, you know, that would be an easy way to do this,” said Clarissa Roof, Roscoe Villages special events coordinator.
The food truck festival will be happening at the same time as the Coshocton Dog Fest, just up the road at Coshocton Lake Park. Roof says was glad to coordinate with the other event, offering a free shuttle that will take attendees to and from each event.
“I’m so glad that we are going to coordinate with a new event because obviously this is only the second year we’ve done the food truck festival so I know what it’s like having that first year event and wanting it to succeed. So, I’m glad that we can kind of share our crowd for the two events and be able to kind of push people back and forth to both of them,” Roof said.
The event is free to the public and more information can be found on Roscoe Village’s Websites. The local businesses in town will also be open for business during the festivals.
