Bomb Threat at Help Me Grow

Zanesville, OH- The Zanesville Police Department is investigating a bomb threat at the former Help Me Grow building now home to a Reach Learning Center.

Detective Sergeant Phil Michel said it took place on Monday, September 16 around 9:20am.

Officers from ZPD, firemen from the Zanesville Fire Department and a K9 from the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Putnam Avenue location.

Authorities said a search of the building and area was conducted. No explosive devices were found and the threat was determined not to be credible

An evidence technician processed the scene for any potential evidence that could identify the suspect or suspects.

Anyone with information concerning the investigation are asked to contact the Zanesville Police. No further information will be released at this time.
